So I had a brief chat session with BosunThePlug to have him featured here
and yeah, there's quite a number of things I'd be leaving out of this post
until our next chat session so you can hear him say them and you can be in
every moment with us. That's right, I'd be featuring a few sessions with
your faves on Soundcloud and sometimes YouTube but please I need your
ginger for this.
Note that from this point, every thing in bold fonts are my doings and those
that aren't bold are BosunThePlug's doings.
Anyways I asked this young man to give me a brief introduction on who
"BosunThePlug" is and he decided to take it personal and refer to himself
as third person (LOL, dramatic much?).
BosunThePlug, born on the 7th of November. He started off by remaking music
heard from the radio at the age of 8. BosunThePlug kickstarted his music
career as a rapper and a songwriter. He didn’t just stop at music; He is a
graduate of Software Engineering, and has built on his creativity,
especially valuable ones in the entertainment industry. Creating and
recreating. BosunThePlug wants his brand to be recognized for simplicity and
success. Attended St. Leo's Primary School, Baptist Academy and then Federal
Science and Technical College (FSTC) and is currently a student of Middlesex
University for a degree.
Where did "The Plug" come from or how did it come to be?
There was a period in time I knew a lot of people in Lagos, so I had mutual
with almost everyone. 😅
What's your favorite food, color, animal (pet)?
My favorite food is Pasta, not spaghetti LOL. I love Dogs and my favorite
color is Blue
It's the "not spaghetti" for me.
What's your favorite breed of dog? How many do you own?
My favorite breed is the Siberian Husky; I have 1 Siberian Husky, 1
American Eskimo, and 3 Boerboels

What do you do professionally?
Professionally, I work as a Creative Designer.
What motivates/inspires you to create?
Basically, It's all in my head most times, I see myself in different
shades and I always make sure I think differently from others just to see
things differently. I will say existence inspires me to create.
Hmmm... deep... deep.
Do you have a favorite time of the day to create?
Nah! I don’t really have a time to create, I only have to be in a certain
mood to create
When you say a certain mood, what do you mean? Wouldn't that also have
to depend on what you're trying to create?
I mean I create with moods and not time... It doesn’t matter what I’m
trying to create

What will you call success for you as an artist?
The moment I host my first show and the crowd can actually sing along to
my songs. I think that's success enough to me as an artist.
Ooou, event planning hey? Do you have a brand for that? Which events
have you done over the years?
Yes! Lifestyle Africa & Discover Lagos. I have done a few but the most
recent one is Creative Parlor, a community of creatives coming together in
the same space to create moments
Have you worked as a professional creative before?
Yea! From event planning to Graphics Designing and the likes.
How does art and your work affect societal issues?
First off, I’m an ambassador of love and I’m keen on always spreading love
because we need love in the world we live in. The best we can do is to be
good examples to the people that look up to us.

What are your favorite and least favorite things of being a
professional creative?
Creativity needs creatives to survive, so my favorite thing will be when
I'm around creatives and my least favorite thing will be stress.
Do you have a network of creatives, and how do they support you?
Yes! They are amazing and have always been. They gas me up and give me a
reason to always push and believe in myself.
What if people don't like something you created, how do you deal?
I mean, I always call one or two people that advise me and listen to the
criticism with me and honestly I work on them. It might not be immediate
but surely.

What is an unpopular opinion you hold?
Age is just a number, Work on having a good human relationship.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Money is the only superpower I want.

Who is your role model and why?
Olamide! I won’t say He is my role model but then he is someone I look up
to and have followed over the years; I must commend his consistency and
tenacity.
Let's talk about your most recent project, what inspired this?
Childhood Drama is me reflecting on my life experiences and consistent
growth. It is a six track EP. The inspiration behind every song is
different, as well as the story it tells.
How did the listening party go?
It was my first time doing stuff like this, calling people out to listen
to songs that might not be their type of music, so I was a bit nervous at
the beginning but when I saw faces I knew smiling, confidence came and
that was it. The event was fire.

What are your ultimate career goals?
To be a successful music artist and also an IT business analyst.
Are there any creative you would like to work with and why?
There are a lot I would like to work with and honestly I am currently

Is there anything you would like to tell your friends, family,
supporters and potential supporters out there?
I would like to say a big thank you for the journey thus far. You guys are
the best for real. There's no me without you guys and I promise not to let
